On October 8, 2008 AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core – “Brisbane” (AM2)Athlon X2 5050e
(2.6GHz / 45W) will be released to supress the success of Intel with 45 nm architecture.AMD has been partially successful in keeping this release as secret till september 2008.Intel likely to producr different Nehalem cores, AMD is ready with 3 more phenom x3 and athlon x2 processors manufactures using 45nm.
